Delhi is the capital of India. More than 11,000,000 people are living in Delhi. About the temperature it experiences extreme hot in summer and extreme cold in winter. The temperature is around 0.6′ Celsius in winter and 46′ Celsius.

Some of the main Tourist spots in Delhi are:

1. India Gate: This was built in memory of 70,000 soldiers who lost their lives during the World War I

2. Qutub Minar: It just looks like a red tower built using sand. This is the highest stone tower in India. This is one of the main tourist spot in Delhi

3. Red Fort: This is named after its bricks used in building Red fort. There is a bride connecting fort named Salimgarh which is 900 meters long.

4. The Humayun’s Tomb: It has highly built walls on all sides with a square garden inside dividing the garden into four equal parts with square pathways.

5. Rajghat: This is a memorial place for the great patriot Mahatma Gandhi. Every Friday people will gather in large numbers to pray for the patriots those who have lost their lives in world war.

Delhi has an International Airport which is 11 kilometers away from the city. Apart from this Delhi has good transportation facilities like buses, trains etc…

Orissa is the nineth largest state in India where more than 37,000,000 people are living in this state. On October 1999 severe cyclone affected orissa and more than 10,000 people died due to this natural activity.

  1. Lingaraj Temple: Lingaraj Temple was built on 11th century and is a temple for Lord Shiva Devotees. This temple is near northern gateway
  2. Parasurameshwar Temple: Parasurameshwar Temple was built on seventh century and we can see many animated images in this temple. In the main entrance there is an animated image of a huge elephant.
  3. Rajarani Temple: Rajarani Temple has many statues of God’s inside these temples. The most famous are Lord Agni and Lord Varuna.
  4. Konark temple: Konark temple is proudly called as sun temple which is 2 kilometers away from orissa. This temple was built on 13th century.
  5. Nandan Kanan Zoo: Nandan Kanan Zoo has many varieties of plants and animals and it also has a biological park which is near a lake where boating is allowed for the tourist people.

Bhuwaneshwar is the capital of this state and it has an International Airport. Apart from this it also has good bus facilities.
